In my case, that train has always run on time and governed by a separate entity. Thankfully.
Some sources did say, decaf has less impact than ‘caf’, but the trigger will starts be there. Consume at your own risk.

1·23 days agoI’ve been enjoying the decafs these days. I play with the ratios daily for flavor and caffeine content and it’s working quite well. The decaf bean tech and variety has advanced quite a bit.
Would recommend if you “miss” the hot beverage ritual without paying the jittery costs.

Oof now that’s out of the box. Effective.
Where can one even get that many crickets? Asking for a friend. He makes bad jokes.

That is brilliant thank you. All it takes is one!
I’ll allow it. As long as you punch up!

Reminded Thoreau’s words something like “I’d rather become a good neighbor than a good subject”. Kindness radiates.

3·2 months agoThank you, didn’t know about them.
I’m not advocating for pacifism but maybe something in a same vein as a viral satirist cartoon can be considered a protest. A public performance, coordinated with a vision, that doesn’t always slide into “looting and fighting”. As you say, we should be ready for it but it’s a last resort since the opponents want the protestors to you turn violent to discredit and ignore.
Easy examples like Boston Tea Party, Singing Revolution or Salt March.
I would love a month long general strike but would accept random mildly coordinated actions towards a greater purpose.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Any interesting non violent protest ideas?
2·2 months agoMakes sense, I guess I was looking for that viral factor.
Just these days it sounds like a regular protest, while fantastic for raising awareness and bringing people together, can easily get reported as “just another protest” and be dismissed easily.
From the replies here, feels like protesting is an act of life, not sporadic.

It’s rude to smack people without their consent.
You should make sure they’re hydrated and communicate effectively so they know to come clearly inside you.
Then you can smack them if they don’t comply.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is it normal to see this static when you close your eyes?

Reminds me of the Cuban man joke… while not directly appropriate… something something like:
During my travels in the 1970s, I met a Cuban man in some bar at night discussing politics and Castro with his friends. I noticed he had an unusually short and stubby index finger. I asked him about it but he was too drunk to give a proper response.
He did however let me crash at his house that night. I woke up to him returning from buying the morning newspaper, seems like daily routine. His wife had made breakfast and he sits down eagerly, looks at his wife and at me and then slaps the rolled newspaper on the table.
I approach him to take a look and he, presses his index finger on the newspaper’s date. He proclaims loudly… “I’m telling you now (without opening the page)… This is the day Castro dies!”
[I tried my best, if someone had the proper wording, let me know. My Google skills failed me]
I wonder what the digital equivalent is…
Good job, you’ve killed OP due to simple instructions. I hope you’re happy.

Leverage is pure comfort watch. So fun. And might even learn a thing or two.
Btw if you don’t mind British humor, Hustle, is/was also a great watch.
Similar themes and con of the week but the characters and power dynamics make it shine. Would recommend!
