I used to watch all the newest air crash investigation videos on bilibili. It could be difficult to find, due to being in Chinese but once I found one, I could find them all.

Chinese citizens get cheap, high speed transit, cheap food prices, and healthcare.

They don’t get to elect an elderly reality tv star pedo rapist into office but there are trade offs in every country.

I don’t live in avenal. I’ve driven through it before but am unfamiliar with it’s local leadership.

A lot of city council meetings that I’m familiar with have an officer there in case of people (typically members of the public) try to commandeer the meeting. I have seen the officer remove a city council member from a meeting for making a show about a certain policy that they would not budge on supporting and wanted to prevent their colleagues from supporting.

Why wouldn’t an officer ask and make the council members leave the meeting and prohibit them from going behind the podium (or whatever set up they have)?

Does someone need to call the sheriff? The state? Newsome?

I think most people support punishing school shooters and there’s some acceptance of “humiliation” but I suppose it depends on your definition and I would need more context to understand what happened and your position.

But why not just stay on Lemmy? Is it because you want to share your perspectives with a larger audience than Lemmy? Have you tried Lemmy and have an opinion of it?
