To be honest, I as a Vietnamese used to favor the US more than China. Then I see all the petty acts the US did against China in the last few years. I recognize these acts as signs of a desperate and failing empire, I can no longer respect the US. Funny how their propaganda backfire, huh.

China presents itself as a noble 君子, the US and the collective West by contrast act like petty 小人. A noble man doesn’t see the need to prove himself to the petty man, for he knows that by displaying his generosity, he will gradually win favors from the rest of the world.

Make big promises to get elected, then ignore these promises once you’ve won, such is the mechanism of liberal democracies, yet liberals everywhere are still falling for it.

Vietnam was looking to buy some F-16, only for the US to display incompetence like this.

Vampires are often allegory for aristocrats, but I think they can represent capitalists as well, because both classes are parasites in their respective time periods.
