I would say that you are mis/uninformed about the history of healthcare, student loans, and financial securities in the US, and the role the US government played in screwing up each of those industries. But, I see that I’m on an ml community somehow, so I know that would fall on deaf ears, because government is part of capital or whatever. Someone please educate me - what is the hate speech and bigotry in calling someone an islamist? I have heard people describe fundamentalist Muslims that way, in the same way you would use “evangelical” or “fundamentalist mormon”. Obviously that doesn’t fit Mamdani! Small correction - he started SpaceX, and that company is wildly successful. That’s mostly due to the incredible leadership of Gwynne Shotwell; but Musk did actually start that company.
