I don’t think a Thatcher type could win in the US (thankfully) - there are a ton of evangelicals who don’t believe in women having authority on the Republican side, even if that woman is a hateful cow who believes the same things they do.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that it is possible because you can’t actually bleach something like that from your brain once you see it. Really it was just the skin that he’d stretched way out but still.
Didn’t he also eat cereal with pee instead of milk and take a picture of himself stepping on his own nutsack? I feel like this dude is just forcing his gross fetishes on people left and right.
The secret ingredient was crime.
If there’s a silent majority, they’ve never bothered voting before now, so I don’t see an upset happening.
Oh yeah, my next car is definitely going to be an EV, regardless, but it does seem silly to spend the money when A) I drive so little and B) I still have student loans I’m trying to clear out in the next year or so. I’m also secretly hoping that in the meantime Toyota will say, “hey here’s a RAV4 that’s identical to your current one except it’s electric!” because I reaaaally love my car and haven’t found anything to take it’s blocky little place in my heart yet.
Man, we gotta pump those numbers up. Get our bite force on the next level.
Your second paragraph is why I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I don’t WFH, but my commute is only about 10 miles round trip and most of my errands are done within that same area. My Toyota is 12 years old and only has ~80k miles on it, so it just doesn’t make sense to switch at this point.
That said, I’m casually looking for a new job and my commute would go up dramatically for a lot of options in my field, so I haven’t eliminated the possibility.
Jokes on those people, now people live in vans on purpose (and I definitely can’t afford one).
I was gonna say, I’m 40 and I’m fully in my idgaf era. I like a lot of corny shit and I’m gonna be openly enthusiastic about it.
That was this morning. I texted everyone that I’d be late and went back to sleep. I failed the escape room, but it was worth it.
One of ours gets stuck on the 3 different sets of measuring cups. Why do we have 3 full sets? No one knows!
I’m afraid of heights. I don’t know why I climbed a tree.
We can’t really do that, at least not where I am. Denying a request has to be based on it being information that we genuinely can’t release to anyone, we can’t just determine we’re not releasing something because the requestor is a pain in the ass. We also can’t charge people unless it takes more than 2 hours of time per request - depending on how the requests are split up, they may not meet that time. I don’t know how FOIA fees work, so maybe it’s different, but I also doubt fees will put the very- well-funded Heritage Foundation off too much.
“Fun” fact, criminal justice records are often subject to different rules than other records. In CO, we have 3 days to respond, or up to 10 if the request is so large that it needs an extension. The police, on the other hand, seem to just fart around forever. FOIA has a longer response time, but I’m guessing most federal agencies don’t get the leeway cops do, so getting a ton of these malicious requests back to back is a real pain in the dick. Speaking from experience, I’m glad I’m not the one dealing with these assholes.
“You have to enforce a law that says creditors can’t discriminate, but you can’t talk about discrimination.” Sure, Gym. How about shut the fuck up for once in your life. We already know you’re a tire fire in human form, you don’t have to keep proving it.
Oh motherfucker. Had I known, I would’ve picked Grazer to win instead of Chunk on my bracket even though Chunk is objectively massive.
Oh you mean Anna Paulina Mayerhofer, whose whole background is up for debate, is a liar and a hypocrite? That’s shocking.
Nah, money makes you look young, but it also seems to turn a lot of people into real assholes. Tbh, though, I think people are mistaking handsome for youthful - I don’t really think either of them look any younger in the face than Walz, it’s just the hair.
They do, but there are enough conservatives who really hate women that I don’t think we’ll see a female Republican nominee for a long time. VP again, sure, but look at how a lot of people talked about Nikki Haley. She’s plenty authoritarian and a ton of them hated her.
