It is annoying but their ignorance and unwillingness to learn keeps me employed so I try not to complain too much about it. Plus, most of the people I help are generally appreciative and kind so that makes helping them feel like less of a chore. I can also shoot the shit with them for a little bit and break up the monotony in the day. Silver linings and all that

I went to Admin Dashboard -> Libraries -> Scan All Libraries. I believe that does the “Scan for new and updated files” by default. According to this reddit thread, you only need to replace metadata if you’re utilizing the new features like chapters in audiobooks.
The Scan All Libraries should suffice for the basic set-up (followed by manually triggering the optimize database scheduled task). However, if you want it to catch some of the new features (really only chapter support for audiobooks springs to mind), that requires a “replace all meta-data” level scan.

I will be doing this tonight. I was waiting for the bugs to be ironed out of the 12.0 release. Will report back with the findings
Edit/Update:
I’m happy to report that the update went very smoothly. The only thing I had to do different was remove my plugins before this update. Luckily all the plugins I did use were also updated to support version 12.x but I did have to reinstall them manually after the update. On the front end, performance is noticeably better on all my clients. Things just load so much quicker now and the experience is very smooth. In the back end, my full library scans didn’t take nearly as long as they usually do. I did make a full backup of my 10.11.11 server just in case but glad to say I won’t be needing it. This is such an amazing update!

Poor bears :(

Gonna add a +1 to 100 Bullets. I absolutely loved it. The art work, the story, the characters, it was all just so well done. Definitely one of my favorites

Interesting method, I didn’t even know that was possible. Would you mind sharing how you achieved that? I would be interested in comparing the two. Dark Reader does add some overhead which is noticeable on my older machines

If you don’t use it already, be sure to check out Dark Reader. As someone who also suffers from screen induced migraines, this thing has been a game changer.

It’s the only thing that (very mildly) bothers me about this otherwise great server. I would be willing to donate to a pool so we can commission an actual artist to make us something nice. A community run competition would be great too

Thank you for the added context. I had never seen this before

The Switch is a great form factor to play on. I always thought the game felt more natural in the hands than on a big screen but maybe that’s just because I first played it on the PSP. There’s a sequel that just came out last year which looks great. Will be a future entry for my patient gaming list

This week I’ve been playing Lumines Remastered on PC. I dumped so many hours into the original one on PSP. The port is very faithful to the original while also adding some nice updates to make it home on PC.
I did have a weird issue where having Vsync enabled made the controls hyper sensitive but turning it off fixed that.
I also don’t have much time to game these days so it’s nice to be able to pick up a quick, low commitment game that’s still engaging.

I saw this interview with him a while back. He’s quite the interesting fellow

A relentless onslaught of visual diarrhea is the best way I can describe it. This is some UI/UX gore

Can confirm and second this. Works great for Office too
Do you have both the ID and the Relay Server set? The status bar at the bottom of the Home tab should say “Ready” with a Green Light if it can connect with your server. Otherwise, it’ll say “Ready, For a faster connection, please set up your own server” which is what seems like is happening with yours
Episode 2, Family. I’m fully expecting to get a little teary eyed watching it
