They couldn’t seem to grasp the idea that it could be the end of the Reddit we knew with a huge injection of new users to potential replacements. Only time will tell.

Tell them more and more companies are moving to Whatsapp for marketing and Meta are doing more and more to make it easier and more annoying. Or maybe the spam will start and they will move themselves
Goes to show how difficult it can be for teams to build good products when there’s a million stakeholders involved vs one stakeholder (plus users). It can be done of course, but only if managed well. Which Reddit obviously didn’t.

It’s very strange to me. I live in Sweden, we barely shut things down, no masks etc things went about as well as other places that did do masms and we’re now looking like we’re doing better in some respects (e.g. education)
