My expetiences differ.

The default launcher regularly breaks, so I need to clean the cache, or wait until it succeeds. So for what I can, I use droidify or obtainium. Some apps also dont work properly as they are reliant on google services. Netflix comes to mind first.

Bank works, but governmental app (ID & payment) dont work, so I am still rel on work phone for those. Check forums, theres a list for these crucial apps and their status.

Other than that it’s been mostly smooth experience.

I understand that to admins or experienced users service files probably feel like home. To an inexperienced user like me it added quite a lot of friction, especially compared to docker where I pretty much copy the compose file and run it.

I tried to use podman instead of docker, but decided that for my home use it might not be worth the headache, but I might reconsider now that I could use LLM to set those up for me.

Definitely, but then it feels like it comes with a cost rather than benefit of not having a daemon. You gain more control at the cost of convenience.

Well, bluetooth, wifi and cellular are radios, so my guess is it depends on what frequencies you wanna cover and how much extra you are willing to sacrifices in price & space.

Correct, you won’t remember the time you got interrupted by an ad. You will however remember the name brand compared to no brand when you see them, and are already conditioned to associate brand with quality and worth.

You know what, even though everyone is downvoting you, I sort of agree with you. Persons faith can help him get better, physically and mentally. Either through placebo or peace of mind. Thats the whole shtick with people not being afraid cause god got their back, or people turning their life around because of accepting faith into their life.

What’s unfortunate with religion is the tendency of other humans exploiting that faith to commit awful things.

Faith’s IMO definitely a double-edge sword and very subjective, which is it’s strength and weakness.

Going to heaven is the ultimate nepo and gambler move. Either you are born with the right religion, or you guess and join the right one out of hundreds, or you burn forever.
