Yes it’s worth it.
Yes it’s worth it.
It’s not overkill at all, it’s an amazing machine with incredible battery life. Thank your grandma and enjoy your new MacBook Pro😊💯🫡👍
Exactly I agree.
You should get either the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro or the model with the M3 Pro chip (just upgrade the RAM too) if I were you tho, I would get the higher end M3 Pro MacBook Pro, it’s much more worth it than the base M3 or M2 Air.
Yeah fr lol, I guess I’m just comparing the Air with my use and extreme tasks like photo/video editing and music production lol😂😂
Nahh the 16-inch MacBook Pro is an amazing machine, the Air is a thermal throttling mess and the Pro is just way better in every single way.
Yeah of course, no problem. I hope you enjoy your new MacBook Pro when you get it :) 💯
You can add a Siri shortcut to the menu bar, but you can also click the battery percentage in the menu bar and tap battery settings there.
Yeah I meant when watching movies, or on FaceTime and stuff.
Yeah agreed and I don’t even use low power mode on my 13 Pro or 15 Pro (or any of my iPhones actually) cuz it disables the 120Hz refresh rate on the Pro models and it noticeably throttles/slows down the performance of the phones, I’ve never used it on my iPad or MacBook Pro and especially would never wanna use it on one of the newer MacBook Pro models, like I always have my Anker 747 Power Bank (PowerCore 26K) with me and if I need to charge my MacBook or iPhone, I can just plug it in. No point in buying a $2K plus machine and then turning on low power mode to “save battery”.
Maybe get the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro, it has a way better and brighter display (120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits of peak HDR brightness for watching movies) and battery (up to 22 hours) than any of the other lower end models and a bigger display than the 13 inch Air models. It also has more ports, way better speakers, way better webcam, and the new design.
So for your needs, the M3 Pro chip is definitely well worth it over the M2 Pro chip, and you should get 36 GB of Memory (RAM) and 1 TB SSD, considering that Ableton Live uses a lot of memory (RAM) for projects being worked on and a lot of storage for sound packs and saved projects, the extra memory (RAM) and storage will definitely help. Ableton Live 11 Suite uses over 70 GB of storage for sound packs on my MacBook Pro. So it’s definitely worth it to consider getting the 36 GB of memory (RAM) and 1 TB SSD storage.
You should get the M3 MacBook Pro
