I totally agree with your thought here, I’ve thought the same thing many times. I’ve see many very overweight cops stopping at gas stations and whatnot.

How can these guys chase down an assailant? Cops should be required to be fit. I’d say they need to prove weekly they can run a mile in like 8mins? Faster? Then, once per month they need to prove they can do a 5 mile, like 45-50 mins? Seems fair.

You might be right, and I hope you are. But I’m also at least partially right too. There are far right conservatives in the military, many of them (even if not the majority, a big enough minority).

The main sentiment of my comment was people like us going about our day to day hoping the military will “do the right thing”, effectively disobey orders maybe? Disobey the president? Isn’t it ingrained into them to not do that?

Its not going to be that easy.

Many who join lean conservative. Many are trump supporters. Don’t forget the numbers that voted for him and continue to support him.

Musk has got to be nervous right now. It seems everyone is siding with trump. The maga cult is really dedicated to their lord and savior.

I will be very happy to see musks downfall. But I was definitely hoping for more of a fracture on both sides, with some split support for Musk. Would’ve been better for damaging the maga side too.

I wonder if Musk survives this. Certainly possible, as the public has a very short attention span. We’ll see. Here’s to hoping he sees nothing but failure from here on out.

Upgrade was not a “B” movie by any stretch. Low budget doesn’t mean B. Upgrade was more well done than much of the “A” stuff that’s put out.

But obviously this is opinion and depends how you define B movies.

Nobody should be “shocked” about anything like this. Trump cares about absolutely nothing other than his own personal wealth, and feeding his ego.

This shit is so fucking stupid. I see very little difference from a bunch of primates throwing and eating their own shit. These animals belong in cages.

Stupid people do vote for some stupid people, but more often, they vote for who is able to manipulate them easier. Manipulating dumb people can be challenging and take intelligence. But it’s undeniably sociopathic especially since it’s usually against the best interests of the dumb.

Currently manipulation is pretty easy if you use religion, abortion, anti gay and anti immigrant bigotry, maybe some patriotism/nationalism. Use these convincingly and you’re almost a shoe-in for the republican party. Promise tax breaks to corporations and you’ll get funded.

We live in a cruel world, and are still pretty uncivilized.
