Then. Go. Do. Something. You literally voted that shit mess in, or your family, or your friends or coworkers did. We don’t give a fuck how you feel. That ship has long sailed.

Please don’t leave your issues on our doorstep. You need to make your own change. We really don’t want to deal with your country on those terms. Leaving Canada or someone else to ‘take / save you’ is why that criminal is in your white house in the first place. No one is coming to save you. So move here yourself, or get out in the streets and start yelling.

Boycott US@lemmy.ca•Big Tech is hiding $1.65tn in off-balance-sheet AI debtEnglish
2·1 month agoWe are nearing the end of the “first ones free” stage. AI companies have been undercharging since they started. Tokens are costing them nearly 10x what they’re selling them for, on the backs of VC funding. Those investors want their money. A lot of cross company deals as well where investment is merely trading for services. Like Microsoft’s investment in OpenAI. That was mostly a trade for computer resources that made the balance sheet look better. It’s going to get ugly.

Antiwork@lemmy.ca•The Secret Reason Bosses Want Everyone Back in the Office, Every Day of the Week
11·3 months agoThis article tracks. I lose at least half a day of productivity on the 2 days / week I’m required to be in office. That commute time is spent in early meetings with colleagues in different time zones. I won’t attend meetings from my car or the train. New boss said don’t come in unless you want to or there’s a team event. We are going to get along methinks.

It’s like the English and the Scot’s. Or the Irish and the Scot’s. Or Scot and other Scot’s. They ruined Scotland!!!
