You probably can, but that might actually be a trailing cactus. Some of them do that by default!

English ivy and bishop’s weed are the bane of my existence.
Diatomaceous earth also shreds fungus gnats, and tends to persist in houseplant soil for quite some time Just apply it to soil outside and water it before bringing it in, it’s hazardous to breathe in.
Yes, extremely important right now, too. They’re pretty much the only thing that’s stopping CWD, a prion disease cousin to Mad Cow, from spreading across north America in wild game and bush meat. Wolves are immune to it, interestingly enough. And they go after sick animals exhibiting odd, “zombie like” behavior due to CWD.
I pray to God it doesn’t jump from bush meat to humans, or into cattle and farming.
I still miss WP daily. It was a fantastic OS. Way ahead of its time, too.
In a bit of a reverse to this, wolf populations are WAY up in Oregon, now. Even with poisonings and deliberate killings. There are hundreds of wolves in the state, and they trend upwards each year.
…oregon has no wolf reintroduction program. These wolves have come from other states, like Montana, Idaho, and Washington, whose numbers are also increasing!
Wolves restore habitats degraded by overpopulation and disease, bringing back species lost or driven out by overgrazing or defoliation of trees. :)

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you rinse your plates and cutlery before putting them in the dishwasher?
4·12 days agoDifferent person, but yes, even after watching the TC video. I preheat the water too. And it’s a fairly recent Miele dishwasher.
Rinsing the dishes definitely helps cut down on this, though. And occasionally checking the filter at the bottom. A little rinsing goes a long way, I’ve found.

8·12 days agoTax filing companies. Individual taxes are pretty straightforward in most cases. Our tax laws are just completely screwed up.
Health insurance and tax information can easily be handled by the government.

I’m a bit worried for mortars and Tesla towers. Sentries may be less effective against some enemies too, but it’s hard to say exactly.
I think the S-tier Eruptor from Democratic detonation is going to be even more important. (And it really should be in the Helldivers Mobilize warbond now with the enemy buffs)

Oh yup, I meant the brown middle part in paper towel rolls!
That’s not bad! I largely don’t drive anymore, unless there’s something I cannot do by ebike or train. I would like to get a used EV someday for those times where I really do need a car.
This is a good idea, but I might use more durable paper towel rolls cut in half instead. All the world’s toilet paper is soaked in a special form of PFAS/forever chemicals that make paper much more soluble in water. That chemical can bioaccumulate in plants and soil, contaminating it for decades, unfortunately.

How much was it, roughly, if you don’t mind me asking?
