Investing comes with risks. Sounds like they’re sour about being on the losing end for once.

Same situation, I packed up my Xbox because we’re looking to move. Cancelled Game Pass Ultimate sub for now, but maybe I don’t end up resubscribing.
The ID on the phone thing is weird. Like I’m gonna give my phone to a cop when they ask for my ID. That’s a nope from me.
That just seems like a privacy nightmare. No one touches my phone. There’s way too much personal info on there to hand over to anyone, much less cops.
Also that if you’re doing CPR alone don’t bother with the breaths, the chest compressions are more important - only do breaths with a second person so you can keep compressions going uninterrupted.
I took a class last year that said this. It was “Shock and Compress.” The compressions are doing more good than worrying about breaths. And delegate someone to find an AED.
It felt a little silly taking that class given that I work for a health org, and I’m fully remote. The odds of my needing to know if seem pretty low, but you never know when it might be important.
I barely used my joycons, but I had drift. I don’t think I was misusing them, I only used them when mobile, and that was infrequent. And yet they drifted.
I replaced the sticks with Hall effect sticks, and they’ve been fine since.
We’ve heard about some companies being charged 67x their previous years prices to renew. How is that not an unwarranted complaint?
We’re looking at a 3 to 4x increase in price, and while that’s not horrible, that’s still a lot. We’re looking at alternatives, because at the end of the day, those prices are too high. And they’re not the only ones raising prices by exorbitant amounts.
Same, and agreed. I don’t listen to much, but it’s been very nice.
Zelda 2.
It’s divisive, but I like it. I have fond memories of playing that game with my dad when I was young. When we reached the great palace, I died so quickly that he once got up early and started playing at 5am to farm extra lives for me. I went into the palace with 26 extra lives.
…I didn’t die at all on that run.
I still play it about once per year. In fact, I just finished it again about a week ago. I want to play the remade fan game, I just haven’t had time to sit and get it setup.
Is that it’s update check?
I bought the 512Gb OLED, and within two months decided I needed to upgrade the storage. I replaced the drive with a 2Tb drive, and I’m much happier. That said, I download a ton of stuff and keep it on there. I don’t often play a single game straight through, so I like having the ability to have a wide variety at any given time. Replacing the drive is trivial if you’re handy at all.
I would buy direct, I wouldn’t trust getting something second hand. I’m sure plenty of people are selling their LCD for an OLED, but I would rather go direct unless you’re getting an amazing deal and have some level of purchase protection.
The company also claims that fans “love” to be subjected to facial recognition as a form of authentication, and trust the technology – crediting this to teams, such as the Browns, sending fans “direct emails” and posting about “the benefits of Express Solutions” on their site.
Let’s see the real data, not the cherry-picked shit they used to “justify” this.
I finished setting up my deck the day before the lawsuit was announced. I should probably make a backup of my SD card where I installed everything…
“No lawful way…”
I just finished saving backups of the games I bought using my (hackable) Switch, and I’m planning on setting it up w/ Yuzu on my Steam Deck.
And no one’s going to stop me from fairly using my stuff.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Tripoli
The Treaty is often cited in discussions regarding the role of religion in United States government for a clause in Article 11 of the English language American version which states that “the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.”
Signed by founders, we don’t even have to wonder what their thoughts were. Leave your shitty religion out of government.
I have no problem with Christians. I have a problem with whatever GOP-supporting assholes call Christian, because it is nothing like what Jesus would teach/do.
Mozilla seized an opportunity to bring trustworthy AI into Firefox, largely driven by the Fakespot acquisition and the product integration work that followed. Additionally, finding great content is still a critical use case for the internet. Therefore, as part of the changes today, we will be bringing together Pocket, Content, and the AI/ML teams supporting content with the Firefox Organization.
emphasis mine
How do you interpret that?
I can’t think of anyone I’d wish to die of cancer. I watched my father become a shell of a man while cancer took him, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
Really, I wouldn’t wish anyone dead, but definitely not of cancer. What a horrible way to go.
Fuck cancer.
I have a bathroom vent going through the wall. No problem at all, in Wisconsin.
The vent cover has louvers that close it off, plus a shroud covering it. Weather is not a concern.
I have not. I don’t handle our hardware much, so I’m not entirely sure what we’re using.
I read the man page, but I didn’t see the answer to your question in there.
I am assuming that it would only dump the root filesystem in your example. Other mounted filesystems like /home or /media, if they’re separate filesystems, probably aren’t included. You’d have to run a separate dump for each one.
Best option to find out is to try it and see what happens. No better way to learn than by doing.
I see a “Women for T****” sign down the road. That’s what the words say, anyway. What it says to me is “I vote against my own best interest.”
