It does but at the same time I understand these Devs rushed to get a browsing app out the door during the Reddit blackouts so they could focus on the transition to a new platform. Even until now Memmy has been critical for me generally as a lurker. I’m only now trying to be better about that and actually contribute content

Name change makes sense but if it can add any value to the discussion the reason I’m on Memmy is like you said I searched for “Lemmy” to see if any apps were made. You may want to add something in the description of the app or whatever that still makes it clear to those searching the App Store that this is ultimately what they’re looking for

And definitely agreeing with the space themed names over Badger

I know the existence of Memmy on iOS really helped me to jump on as a casual user. I think awareness of apps and easy hop on points is what’s going to be the biggest boon for general growth of the user base
