Are there actually Windows users that say Linux is too complicated but then jump through hoops with registry even CMD prompt?!
I’m not micromanage it, that may be a privacy tradeoff i make for convenience. I want to see what I can do without constant maintenance.
Can you kindly tell me the difference between a leak and a breach?
That seems to only be available for Android.
No I did end up changing my studentaid email to an SL alias, though I might wanna change it back if it keeps having issues. The issue is that icloud bounced the email, and SimpleLogin itself gave me an email each time one got bounced, with to go to simplelogin.com and see the bounced email. This is the title for each one

Can this app work without a server, like just log my location on-device?
I want an app that can track it automatically, and without having to open it to do so, Google maps on iOS does so. You can allow apps to always access your location to do so.
I guess there are still users for it.
Personally I moved on from it 4 years ago since I was using it for bookmarking and raindrop.io is designed for that and much better, though I’ve been planning on switching to something self-hosted.
I think Omnivore is a much better read it later app now.
No I used a different username on the site
I just tried it on the Tor Browser and I still get the error, I’m gonna wait a day to see if its just a rate limit, because I’ve prolly created dozens of aliases today as I’ve been changing all my account emails.
I don’t use Tor as my default browser because the Tor circuits are slower and not necessary for my threat model.
I’m long past that, I’ve gotten LOTS of downvotes from cross-posting to too many Firefox communities, because they show up in the feed multiple times for users I think.
Yeah personally I set the tab height in my userChrome file
Would u know how I could randomize (constantly change) my fingerprint?
This was last updated 3 years ago, does it still work fine? Maybe add a note saying that it works as of 2024? I also see an issue opened a year ago that’s unanswered.
The issue with bookmarks is that it takes too much navigation to open one and browsers don’t allow to select multiple in a folder to open
Tab Session manage can automatically backup sessions to the backup folder. I mentioned that on r/Firefox and got this response:
Oh, this is interesting. It does a backup-to-disk 30 seconds after startup.
During init() it schedules the backup with
setTimeout(backupSessions, 30000);
This generates a silent download to a predefined folder through the functions in these files:
https://github.com/sienori/Tab-Session-Manager/blob/master/src/background/background.js
https://github.com/sienori/Tab-Session-Manager/blob/master/src/background/backup.js
https://github.com/sienori/Tab-Session-Manager/blob/master/src/background/export.js
I didn’t know setTimeout() worked in background scripts. If setInterval() works, too, then this could be done every 15 minutes or whatever interval would be sensible for user styles.
I want to export them automatically because I’ve had Firefox addon data get wiped unexpectedly.
I wonder if its because I crosspost to other Firefox communities but they all show up in the feed of any given one.
I’m actually really glad u showed me this, MUCH more convenient than using adb!
