Definetly about 3 days or so I was Nightshift in a supermarket and sometimes during heatwaves I just spent entire days trying to sleep and failing.

Apart from feeling awful I did start seeing things like thinking birds were flying over the aisle I was stocking and similar small things so not recommended really.

Yeah just now watched it fully it’s interesting there’s no mention of any of the old Sony fancy features on the new ones either, think my old one had all the dolby stuff and could do things cassettes usually couldn’t like skip and rewind tracks etc.

I’ve an old Sony Walkman in a drawer that’s is barely larger than the cassettes itself, my guess today there probably isn’t money in them anymore so it’s probably only a handful of company’s making them and doing it as cheap as possible.

I read in bursts really I can go weeks/months without then go through 6 or 7 books in a week. I’ve always been a very fast reader and if something interests me enough to give it a look I tend to read the entire series at once.

I think the biggest factor for me is if it grabs my interest or not quickly if something doesn’t I don’t try and force it just wait for the next thing that might.

Yeah agreed nothing should be disposable with a lithium battery. I’ve just the feeling a lot of vapes are just designed to die as fast as possible even when it comes to reusable stuff .

To be fair the supposedly reusable pod kits only lasted me about a month or maybe two before whatever sensor that activates it when you draw breaks (what’s wrong with buttons) .

That said all these disposables should at the very least be rechargeable it’s truly stupid to buy something with a single charge I bet half of these are sold at about 60 percent or so battery and who will know.

Nothing can’t even do widgets that work never mind an OS this is most likely going to be some nonsense where they change the word Android to Nothing or some other worthless gimmick.

Just look at their past stunts like Nothing messages and their Chatgpt integration which turned out to be a widget that opened chatgpt no different than a shortcut.

Reason I don’t use Freetube is it will never show age restricted videos because it doesn’t sign into YouTube your also limited to a max of 1080.

I used the Mozilla account sync thing that’s built in but it didn’t restore the extensions.

bookmarks and passwords seem to have copied over to the DivestOS one though.

Only really block users when it’s something I don’t want to see (images) rarely for opinions, same with communities most are blocked for being weird porn that showed up on all.

Revanced you need to download the revanced manager then search for the recommended version of YouTube (manager will tell you) and download a nodpi version from apk mirror or similar.

Select that file in the manager patch and install it (make sure you choose the one you downloaded from storage and not the YouTube that’s installed.

Sounds a pain and it probably is the first few times you do it but it’s not really hard.

I dealt with this on mine yesterday I used a Mozilla account to back up mull settings then uninstalled it and installed the new one from the DivestOS repo.

Yes it was a nuisance and I was a little annoyed it didn’t keep my extensions but I guess I had to do it if I wanted a browser that wasn’t a risk.

I probably click on the updates twice a week and I always do play store and F-Droid one after the other. Not uncommon for me to get about 30 app updates despite checking that often.
