Most reindeer live North of the Arctic Circle, where the sun does not rise above the horizon in winter months. I suspect most summer days are brighter than the few hours of twilight the reideer get in December.

It took me far too long to understand the wtf-ness of this.
In Finnish, ‘Jussi’ (the Finnish ‘J’ is similar to ‘Y’ in English) is a common men’s name. Think John or similar. It carries some connotations from classic literature to peasants, hard work, and sisu.
And “pussi” simply means a bag, specifically a simple one usually made out of paper or plastic.
The branding is supposed to invoke an idea of breakfast buns that are traditional, simple, and full of energy to carry you through your day.
I would recommend soppa365.fi for your recipe needs. It compiles recipes in Finnish from several sources. You can usually find something that works with little to no adjustment.
Totality, as in the entirety, of the Alhambra is in the photo.
The most recent eclipse, which is probably what is causing the confusion here, was not visible in Spain.
No one.
Our one-year-old pup was genuinely upset about having to sleep in the same room as us on a weekend trip to the countryside.
At home he sleeps in the study and kicks up a fuss if anyone disturbs him by existing in ‘his’ room after 10 pm.

Another Finn here.
Crate-training itself is not illegal in Finland. There are, however, requirements for crate size and limits on how long a dog can be kept in a crate.
My one-year-old pup is crate trained and had enforced crated naps as a puppy. He is a very active breed that tends to have trouble managing their own excitement level, especially when young. These days the crate sits open and the pup elects to sleep in it most nights, and sometimes during the day if he wants to be left alone.
In addition, he has a collision-tested car crate that keeps him safe while traveling. He treats it like his puppy crate and just snoozes through most drives.
I don’t see an issue with crate training if it is done with the dog’s needs in mind. Crate is not a convenient storage to keep your pet in, and a dog should not be left crated for an entire work day. They need space and enrichment in their days to be happy and healthy.
I feel like, for many, the choice isn’t voting for Trump if they’re disillusioned with Biden, but just not voting for Biden. I’m aware the result of inaction is likely the same as voting for Trump, but cognitively it’s easier to stomach.
I’m genuinely curious to know where in the world you live. I would be horrified if someone was peeking under the stalls or bothering people by knocking on the doors.
Octopus has a Greek root, so the correct plural would be octopodes. Octopuses and octopi are both acceptable, though. But I do love to bring up etymology whenever this comes up.
Awesome progress! Your plant looks very happy in its environment, it’s actually flowering.
However, to keep a string of turtles focused on leaf and vine growth, it may be a good idea to cut off the flower stalks. This plant is not known for pretty flowers, and actually the odd little sky-reaching stalks are the extent of its flowering glory.
I’m not the person you’re replying to, but I do recall Lorenz being caught in a lie and trying to cover it with stealth-edits. She has definitely had her (and her publisher’s) agenda take precedent over facts back when she was covering the Depp/Heard trial.
However, while I do try to verify her reporting from other sources, I would not classify her anywhere near the imploding egomaniac billionaire. She’s way better than any billionaire, because there’s no way anyone can amass that amount of resources and not be selfish, problematic, and too far removed from ordinary people to relate to them.

I have a Lamb’s tail, Anredera cordifolia, growing in a fairly low-light spot in my living room. Much of the plant is edible, the flavour is reminiscent of spinach.
They’re quite unique. They’re a lot more tart and bitter than raspberries, with an after taste similar to that of some particularly tangy craft sour beers. The seeds are also larger, but the slight crunch is actually very satisfying.
The flavour is not universally loved, though, and especially children often prefer cloudberries with a heaping of sugar.
All right, good to know it’s not just me! I hope it’ll be implemented soon, as I really like the wefwef interface in general.
I suppose it’s not too much of a bother to pop into my instance through the browser every now and again just to block a bunch of things.
I’m not sure if I’m just technologically challenged, but I can’t seem to find a way to log into wefwef from a smaller instance. Does it only support the big four?
//edit: Turns out you can only pop in as a guest from the bigger instances. You can log in to any instance, and I’m just dumb.
Hm. I showed this to my husband, who immediately pointed out that it’s an anti-tank mine and thus couldn’t be foot-activated.
