So a total of 16 enclosures? Sounds like a really small study. Unless they were cramming lots of people into those enclosures.

Is it just me, or is IMDB becoming shittier and shittier?
Thanks chicken man. Let’s all block cookies and ads to spite ad companies.
Fuck off greasy Randy! Oh wait, that’s someone else.

No, you’re a flat cuboid.

This gives me a sort of Temple OS vibe. I have a feeling this developer will soon develop his own operating system based on Zodiac signs.

That seems to be the whole issue here. You assume things and then go and comment on how they have written a dumb question. While you could’ve helped them out and created a welcoming atmosphere on Lemmy. Instead you make it so it sucks, just like on Reddit.

Pathetically easy even? Come on, why are you like this? Is it that hard to be friendly to another person? They are merely asking a question and the first you think of is to make fun of them. Is that really what Lemmy is all about, making fun of people instead of helping them?

This is a social platform where you’re allowed to comment and ask questions. So I can understand their first thought would be to, you know, ask. Are we really going to hate on everyone asking a question instead of Googling everything? Do we really need this negativity on Lemmy? Should be we welcoming to people or should we be assholes as is the norm on Reddit?

Not everyone watches the news these days. There are plenty of people that have anxiety issues that cannot bear watching the news.

You could’ve Googled that instead of asking a question if Google doesn’t exist where they’re from.
Or are we not on a social platform where it’s allowed to ask questions? Maybe don’t be an asshole and be welcoming to people so Lemmy can actually grow and now scare people away. away.

I come here to get away from the negativity of Reddit, only to find people are just as bad over here when someone asks a question.

Same here. I just logged back in after not visiting for 2 years. And the first thread I opened was about Alex Pretti. Now I don’t follow the news anymore since I have an anxiety issue so I did not know who this was and there was nothing mentioning who he was. Until I came to this commenter asking who he was and seeing they were getting downvoted into oblivion and made fun of. Obviously I didn’t feel welcome at all.

I’d say be welcoming. If people decide to try something like Lemmy coming from another platform, don’t get all sarcastic when they ask a question. Be nice, answer their questions and be the ambassador for the community and help the community grow. Remember that most people don’t come from a place of malice when they ask questions or post things. It’s much more likely that they might be uninformed or misinformed, and explaining things in a friendly way makes it more likely to change their mind than when you call them dumb or make fun of them. And if they turn out to be a troll, just block them.

The NYE party just keeps starting earlier.

Maybe Windows will make it explode.

Could you point me in the right direction for these tools?
Croissant shape please.

But were they healthy all the way or were they struggling? And do you remember what food she ordered at Wendy’s? I’m not planning to copy her, but I am curious.
Ah, now it all makes sense to me.
