29·18 hours agoThat’s not how it works, perhaps you might want to close your apps for a few weeks and live in the real world and then you will realize it is nothing like the online spaces.

1828·20 hours agoIn no way discounting her experience, but it’s almost like she’s a woman and not a man and she sees things from the woman’s perspective.
It’s a cruel reality, and without having to do a battle of the sexes comparison, everybody gets this bullshit, regardless of gender identity or sex.
Ever been a man and walked into a woman’s online space and see the bullshit that goes on there, the horrible accusations, derogatory dialogue? Ever been falsely accused of sexual impropriety by a woman who’s just looking to hold power?
People are assholes, and when you go on a platform filled with assholes, they’re going to be assholes. Solution, stop going to those places and live in the real world.
Cool smoke can hit better, but counterintuitively, not when it is cooled through the filtration medium (water).
The biggest reason is condensation. Think about a can drink sitting out in the hot weather, and how water collects on the outside. When something very cold touches something very hot, the moisture condenses.
A very similar process happens when you filter the smoke, it passes through cold water, which condenses the humidity out of it as well as a lot of extra THC that you don’t want to condense in the water.
So you end up with a relatively dry hit, that is kind of scorching to the lungs in that strange way. Because you’ve got incredibly dry cool air now hitting warm moist lungs and the condensation happens the other direction! Moisture from your lungs is robbed into the smoke that you just inhaled.
As weird as it sounds, the easiest way to experience this is to notice the difference between a hot filter and a cold filter, when you have a little bit of a chest cold. You’ll be able to see just how much extra your lungs freak out when you take a cold hit.
All of this being said, clean bongs regularly and do not allow bacterial growth to form. Since I’m dropping three decades of stoner knowledge here, another tip is to use acetone instead of the commercial cleaners. One tablespoon of acetone beats everything. So it does a much better job than the over-the-counter cleaners, it’s way cheaper, and it’s a safe solvent.
You want warm water for a bong.
You can have ice in the throat as the smoke rises but do not filter through cold water.

2·2 days agoI’m no expert and 2/3 of the images fail to load for me right now. But it looks like LOTS of subsurface corrosion which makes this garbage/recycle. I want to be wrong.

I’ve been waiting for the “big year” since 1996. It’s never going to happen. This is not to invalidate anybody’s appreciation of Linux but it’s not for the public and it never will be.

Astronomy@mander.xyz•Hubble telescope discovers rare galaxy that is 99% dark matterEnglish
211·4 days agoRight, but real thing or effect <> dark matter
We’ve found absolutely ZERO evidence, only peculiarities with observations which point to bad models and DM is the fill in. The more we look, the less likely it seems to be as described.
LHC produced no evidence… LUX none… PandaX-II none.
So it’s time to give up the particle chase IMO. We gave it our best shot at collecting evidence to support the conjecture, none found. New JWST data reveals just how bad the concept of DM is… so actually as time goes on the DM conjecture becomes weaker and weaker, not stronger as you think.

516·4 days agoI take this to be a nail in dark matter’s coffin. The more I learn about it, the more it seems an outrageous placeholder for failing to correctly model and describe gravity. We’ve searched… fuck all has come out of collider research, etc. I can’t believe anymore there is a “particle”.

Yeah sure message me, or feel free to drop a reply here I’m not sure what the etiquette is? Personally I don’t see people going ape poopy over a link but not trying to speak for others.
I’m on mobile for the next while and I can’t see the profile shop link you mentioned through Voyager which is my app.

Bohemian Rhapsody.
It’s some goofball pastiche of bad musical ideas. People love it, and every few years it’s “rediscovered” and I have to endure more.
