  • While their efforts were unsuccessful, emails also reveal that this Epstein associate, Wall Street attorney Brad Karp – who represented the late financier’s business associate, Leon Black – coordinated surveillance on the woman. This correspondence, made public in the justice department’s recent disclosure of 3m Epstein investigative files, suggests that Karp was trying to use a Manhattan US attorney’s office connection in the disgraced financier’s push to have her charged with a crime.

    “Nasty people.”

One of the emails from Jeffrey said in 2022? That Trump was already showing signs of dementia. Ronnie had Alzheimer’s and they didn’t tell us that either. These people aren’t only abusers of women and children, but also the elderly and people with mental health issues. In short, anyone vulnerable, and if they aren’t, they make them vulnerable.

  • Hegseth said that it would be a “wise choice” for Iran to accept Washington’s demands. “The President’s been clear from the beginning, as he was before Midnight Hammer. Iran will not have nuclear weapons capability. And so, they can either negotiate on that front, or we have other options – that’s why the War Department exists,” he said, adding that the US is “more than prepared” to attack. “[US President Donald Trump] doesn’t want to go that route, I don’t want to go that route, but our job is to be prepared, and so of course we are, we’re more than prepared. President Trump’s committed to peace, committed to a deal if Iran’s serious about making a deal, and we’ll see. It’s up to Iran.” Oman hosted the US–Iran talks last Friday. Right after the first round of talks, Washington imposed new sanctions on Iran’s oil industry. At the behest of Tel Aviv, Washington is demanding an end to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, heavy restrictions on the ballistic missile program, and an end to all Iranian support for resistance groups in the region – namely Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Yemen’s Ansarallah.

  • According to reports, the new policies will eliminate obstacles that have limited settlement growth for decades. They include lifting confidentiality rules on land registries and repealing a Jordanian-era law that prohibited land sales to Jews in the occupied West Bank. The decisions also reactivate a land acquisition committee, dormant for over 20 years, to facilitate large-scale purchases aimed at securing settlement land for future generations. The measures also violate the 1997 Hebron Protocol, which grants planning and construction authority in Jewish settlement areas of Hebron, including around the Ibrahimi Mosque, to the Palestinian municipality. The new rules instead transfer this authority to the Israeli Civil Administration. Additional decisions are expected to alter the status quo around Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem, as well as in Areas A and B of the occupied West Bank, which are under Palestinian administrative control. As a result, Israeli authorities could demolish Palestinian-owned buildings in Area A under the guise of protecting archaeological and heritage sites. Israeli-controlled media said that Smotrich and Katz have promoted these measures to gain political support ahead of upcoming elections in the occupied territories. Analysts say the changes to land ownership and purchasing procedures in the occupied West Bank will be legally difficult to undo, leading to a significant expansion of Israeli settlements in the territory.
