It is not silly, it is oppressive. Sure it is easier to install malware at the airport, but now they got “legal” ways of entering your apartment without your knowledge. This would make planting evidence so much easier. I am not saying we are at this point were the police plants evidence to get a case against someone but it is paving the road.

It is not so much a big parliament as it is a diplomatic platform to exchange opinions. How could these votes be binding if there is no force making sure anything is done? I think it is still good that all countries have a place where they can talk despite all differences but it is not where we can expect salvation from.

Personally I prefer a folder-based gallery system. It really comes down to the app. I use Foss Gallery and for management I try to sort into new folders. So honestly it is not that different. If you have a big pile of unsorted pictures it becomes an annoying task.
