Exactly. Windows phones were great. They just needed the big apps to get on board which never happened. I feel the same way about Linux phones. I want them to be a success but I’m doubtful it will ever happen.

The only stumbling block I have found is that I have a couple accounts where my email address is my sign on and it cannot be changed. I would need to set up a new account with my new email address.

Other than that, it’s been like you said. A bit daunting at first but one day I’ll break that chain and never look back.

I have gmail forwarding my email to my new account outside of Google. I have a “Gmail” folder on my non-Google account where all these forwarded emails get dropped.

I have been updating my email address on these forwarded emails for over a year. I’ve had this gmail address since gmail started so it’s taking some time. It is a process but I am winning.

No no. There are wealth companies out there that you can pay millions to and they will make sure you don’t have to pay any taxes.

We got by before these shitty companies existed. I’m sure we can survive not using them.

I do use them on occasion but prefer to order something local and pick it up myself. No markup and some places even give a discount on pick up orders.

I have heard lots of things about how terrible the Pixel 6 is. I have had mine since launch with no issues. Maybe I just got lucky, I don’t know.
