Stargate Universe. It was Stargate meets Battlestar Galactica and I loved it. It wasn’t without its issues, but I felt it was really finding it’s feet. Then it ends on a cliffhanger after 2 seasons
Just do what I did in school and put an earphone down your sleeve. Rest head on hand. Listen to music. It’s not difficult, I got away with it in exams ffs (I dont recommend that last bit btw, that was young stupidity in hindsight)
Say in your head “Only a fool, breaks the two second rule”. Takes about two seconds to say
And if you’re child/significant other died as a direct result of someone glueing themselves to a road, would you genuinely be ok with that? Would that be a worthwhile loss of life for the cause? Because somehow, I find that incredibly hard to believe.
I’m not sure why you’re being downvoted so much either tbh. I completely support protest, but let’s not fuck up everyone’s day and potentially kill people for it. Yes, climate change is a genuine threat, but don’t risk the people’s lives.
If people want to protest, do it in the middle of a city, do it outside a government building etc. There are ways to inconvenience people and get your message across without risking life
Nah, yer hugs were shit!
I’m still unsure what it even means. Based in what? Reality, fantasy? It’s clearly a US thing and often seems associated with the more right wing
Just remember what hr stands for. You are a resource. No more than a stapler, that can be replaced at any time
I tried playing bg 1 and 2 about 10 years ago. I put about 40 hours in between them and enjoyed it, but I found it tough going. I’ve found bg3 way easier to get into and have already far surpassed the hours I put into the original games. On top of what I’ve already mentioned, the change to fully turn based is a huge improvement on that weird pausable real time used in the previous games
I think bg3 is also a lot easier to get into than dos 1 and 2. Having actual cut scenes and voice acting for everything goes a long way in making the game immersive. I also feel its easier to get into the combat (though that may just be me having got used to dos beforehand)
I spent some time playing 4p at the weekend. Personally, I loved it. It definitely had the feel of a ttrpg session. Your experience will completely come down to who you are playing with
You can buy earplugs made specifically for this purpose that stick out less so you can lie down
Aside from the writing style, it’s much more cinematic than the div games. I’m finding it a lot easier to get sucked into the story
I’m in exactly the same position. Can’t see me ever finishing it now sadly, but what an experience!
Personally, my least favourite gta. Liked the writing and the characters, but for me, it just didn’t feel fun to play. A good example of this being the driving. Sure, it was more realistic, but it wasn’t enjoyable
I’m genuinely shocked. It’s a great film that perfectly captures the feel of the book
Easily Spirit Island. Huge replayability, a wide range of difficulties, and impossible to quarterback for mortals
They have done this at motorsport events… Putting their lives, the competitors lives and the marshals lives at risk. It’s idiotic
