I didn’t notice any issues with my self hosted Rustdesk setup, but I guess this would freak out new users.
Dot local slash share slash pussy dot desktop or something like that, but it might not show up in the dock anyway if it didn’t come in a flat pack crate.
Cats eyes see motion much better than still things. In a car, everything is moving. Brain overload?

Debian or Gnome seem to have some kind of semi usable search in the gui. It can find files in multiple places by name, wildcard etc but I’m not sure what it can see. Everything is great on Win.

Reminds me of when students used to pull the 5¼" floppy drive blanking plates off PC’s, reach inside and steal the RAM.

Because you’d miss out on the happy meal.

One step ahead - installed Syncthing on an always-on Windows box located at my office, pointed it at some needed Google Drive folders, and synced to Debian. The Windows box has other syncing tasks anyway so it’s not costing anything in power. The Debian laptop is becoming my main workhorse.
rclone is too much of a PITA to configure. insync is way too expensive, especially with multiple Google Drive accounts. Gnome’s sync thinggie does weird stuff with filenames in LibreOffice etc, is basically unusable.
I need Google Drive due to my existing business setups.

Once the rubber diaphragms perish, cleaning won’t help much. ('85 Bluebird)

And Leisure Suit Larry for Sex Ed,

I don’t think so. I’m running Gnome / X11 I think. Wayland doesn’t pass the hotkeys to the guests so I don’t use it.

Me.

Hmm. Now I need a function to draw various genitalia and erogenous bits.

Nice.
Maybe I should start one so that Rustdesk / anydesk connections from Debian 12 don’t scroll uncontrollably for a second after I remove my two fingers or edge scroll finger from my track pad.
Trying various things like turning off acceleration, inertia, fiddling with xinput etc, to no avail.
How can a resistive water heater be inefficient? (other than not being a heat pump?)
I’m finding it hard to arrange all the legs.
