You’re not wrong, but neither is the other guy…

This is sometimes still a thing. I know of at least one religious news organisation that takes the website offline on Sundays.

Or maybe another form of renewable energy?

To be fair, it is not gonna be very usefull to remap it to any other button as the other button is also already on your controller. It would just be a duplicate function.
Not entirely useless, but also not far off. It might eventually become useful as a homebrew menu button if someone ever figures out how to hack it

No I can’t because for spoken language I don’t need a camera, just a mic and I also wouldn’t want to be constantly bombarded with a translation of every foreign language. If I want to translate something I can’t read I can get my phone to either type it or use the camera function on that thing. These glasses will not replace my phone and that already has a camera with better privacy option than these glasses will ever have. So no. I do not see a need for a camera that videos everything I see all the time except for some very niece scenarios. If you think you need something like this, then great, but don’t expect people taking it kindly that you are filming their every move.

But “perfect white teeth” aka veneers are often a cosmetic procedure and are thus generally not covered by universal healthcare (there are exceptions ofcourse).
I’d argue a rootcanal treatment is very necessary so I don’t think they are comparable situations. That is ofcourse just the opinion of a random internet person.

So isn’t the solution then to just feed the Claude output through a second tiny LLM with the prompt to slightly rewrite the input? I mean you can probably use a 1b model to do that and that can run on practically anything nowadays

Honestly I see only one use for smart glasses with a camera and AI and that is to help blind people know what is in front of them.

I think China would have pursued it regardless, they just might have relied more heavily on European tech then they do now and thus would have delayed their home grown tech. Or if Europe played their cards right would have resulted in a better trade alliance with China and have benefitted both economic areas by exchanging tech advances sidelining the US. This last one might be a bit to much of a utopia though

Also dress up options are often better for female characters in my experience
Probably best to check the rules of your country if you receive benefits because of the disability. Disabled Dutch people for example get money from the government and are allowed to live elsewhere while keeping the monthly benefits although they do have some yearly requirements.
I don’t know if something like this exists in Ireland or if you have those benefits, but if you do it is a good first start to look into

Conspiracy theory: Germany is surrounded by countries doing quite well with their trains. Germany has the strongest car industry in Europe. Thus Deutsche bahn executives must be payed off by the German car industry to keep the trains run bad.

Looks really interesting. I will definitely Check it out

Indeed. Pretty much hell if you enjoy mountains.

The “intelligent strat” Level health so you won’t get killed The actual strat: strength up. bonk hard. Bonk before me get bonk

And yet not everyone can become a nuclear engineer or rocket scientist, programm architect, lawyer and so on, so your “experience can be taught, leadership has to be learned” falls apart pretty quickly.
Leadership is not in anyway less then any other job that you can become an expert in. It is just focused on social sciences instead of engineering for example and both can be taught. It’s dumb to say that leadership is something special, its just that it is the more accessible of fields that have a high skill ceiling as it is present in pretty much every work environment.
Tldr, I think your end point is dumb, but I do agree that people management is hard and is definitely a skill. The best leaders are experts in their own right and it is just a matter of contextualising leadership as a skill you can become an expert in.
You surely meant self hosting right? Right…?

It’s not just Star Trek, it is any and all big IP shows. The more screen time is taken up by flashy effects and explosions and shotty CGI the less time there is to potentially offend that random piece of chewed out and stepped on gum under a random person’s shoe. Because think of that disgusting piece of gum, it might have an opinion!
China is not a Russian ally though. China is an opportunistic state. They make agreements and trade with anyone who they think will further their goals. Thus they trade with Russia because by doing so they gain influence in a diminishing state that controls a lot of resources (Russia’s far east is increasingly becoming Chinese by population and companies for a reason)
China doesn’t make friends, they make deals with anyone and everyone as long as they think it is positive for China.
