I do think copyright should still exist, but with fair use being significantly expanded, maybe something like CC BY-NC?.
The bit about being non-transferable and owned by the individual creator is exactly what I was thinking.
Also: fuck patents.

I have that bike too!! branded “stratton”, but has the exact same frame. I’ve been gradually repairing it, and it’s currently in my living room (workshop) waiting for parts (incl. new winding wire for the dynamo). It’s 50% brown paint and 50% rust, and the tyres (presumably original) are splitting apart, but I don’t plan on fixing anything that still works. There is just too much rust for me to feasibly remove or paint over. Will try to add a photo tomorrow.
Edit (The saddle is temporary, I still plan on fixing the original):

One rather complicated method of accessing whatsapp:
My laptop’s screen died, and in taking it apart to see if it was reparable/replaceable, I tore off the antenna socket from the WiFi card. The WiFi card can be easily replaced, but there is still a bit of it stuck in the end of the antenna cable that hasn’t come out yet… I’m not sure what the solution is yet (I might try soldering the cable to the card directly, if I decide the cable is a lost cause anyway).
Also my phone had it’s last breath last week, so now I’m using a 20 yr old laptop, and a 10 yr old phone.
Could you maybe attach one of these to the scooter? I have no idea how scooter trailers connect.

Yes, seaweed is good, and widely used where I live (Also not an expert though). It’s best to let the rain wash some of the salt away first though.

I believe some motorised trailers use a sensor in the tow bar to detect if the tow bar is under tension or compression. Under tension, increase the throttle, under compression, decrease the throttle. They also might have brakes which could be applied under strong compression.
I’ve never used one myself though.

This article reads like an AI(?) summary of a reddit thread itself though.

All I can think of is:

City suburbs are prime fox territories. Where I used to live you would easily see multiple foxes per night if you looked out of the window for 5 minutes. There were many cats about (including our own), and never heard of foxes causing any issues for cats.
Standard breeze, but I use light cursors on a dark background. I think that makes more sense.

That’s how I still do it. My phone is too old for the app. It only comes up for larger payments though.

Yes. Also, if a user is banned, the mod can select to delete all their posts/comments. Only the ban shows up in the modlog.

It is there if you view it on kbin.

The only 3cm thick pancakes I’ve had were German.

Why use an AI description on a post in a community named “fuck ai”? I’m genuinely curious how this came about.
The mechanism works because the “head” of the bolt is in the middle. It’s a double ended bolt basically. The nut on the end that goes into the bike only attaches it to the bike, and it’s tightness has no impact on the functioning of the brake, other than stopping the bolt rotating.
There are 2 nuts at the other end. The inner one needs to be loose, to allow the brake leavers to rotate freely, and the outer one is tightened against the loose one to keep it in place.
I’ll try making a diagram when I get home.
