They are not ‘returning to their core values’. They’ve been endorsing candidates since the '70’s. They are defining their ‘new’ values, which is to slurp and suck.
The actual creators at WaPo should just come forward as a group and endorse anyway. The fuck is Bezos gonna do, nuke his whole staff?

His logic might be that he gains little from a Harris endorsement, but could lose a lot if Trump wins and retaliates. It’s a cowardly, capitalist logic.
The best way to help Trump lose, which would keep him unable to retaliate, is to endorse Harris. But I suppose he also doesn’t want his billionaire taxes raised a few percent, which is a faint possibility under Harris.
He’s a money guy. Appearing completely neutral and an open question benefits him based on his availabile information. If that changes either way, that is when we will know.
Basically he’s a coward.
