    That’s the fun bit - corporations are so short-sighted they don’t care if the social contract falls apart. They can’t see beyond next quarter.

      The social contract is already beginning to crumble, at least in the US. Insatiable greed knows no bounds in these parts, and them assholes are gonna fuck around until they find out.

        They wont find out. Even when we are homeless we will gaslight ourselves into thinking we can be rich. Its all we americans know.

    Low paid workers have demands put on the scarce resource that is wages. If the wages go up, they spend that money in ways that increase productivity.
