40,000 Arab fighters arrive in Syria to back Hezbollah - report - eviltoast

Thousands of militia fighters and mercenaries from three Arab countries have reportedly arrived near Syria’s occupied Golan Heights to aid Hezbollah in its ongoing war with Israel, the Israeli daily Haaretz reported on Tuesday.

Around 40,000 fighters had come to Syria from “a number of countries, including Iraq, Yemen and Syria”, the report claimed, citing unnamed sources in the Israeli military.

The fighters were reportedly within “the vicinity of the Golan Heights” waiting for orders from Hezbollah’s secretary-general, Hassan Nasrallah, to join the fighting, the daily said, without citing any evidence to support the claim by the Israeli military source.

I’m not sure I’d trust israeli sources, specially when it’s coming directly from its military. Could very well be war propaganda and an excuse to invade Lebanon, since that’s what they’ve been trying to do for the past few months.

Israel has spent so much time running over Palestinians they need to remember what it’s like to fight a real army.

Yes, because surely more death will stop all this senseless killing.

Israel does not seem very responsive to diplomacy. Maybe you can send Netanyahu and Biden a letter to ask them to cut it out.

I mean in the short term no but remember that it was Israel having to fight Egypt and Syria after they actually got their armies up to modern standards to give up on Sinai. Their delusions of invincibility fuel much of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians neighboring states, so a good reminder of the lesson they learned in the 6th of October (aka Yom Kippur) might help.

While it would be good news, from the tone and source i call bullshit. It sounds just like every other “orc horde incoming” propaganda i ever read and especially in the mouths of isn’treali media it also sounds like preemptive justification of incoming massacres.
