wip jellyfin music client (iOS + watch + tv) - eviltoast

Hi! I’m currently making Etoile, music central native Jellyfin client for the Apple suite of devices (everything but Vision Pro). It needs a few more features before I’m comfortable releasing it. so feel free to follow me on mastodon @jules@pony.social for updates:)

iOS:

  • Play songs from albums
  • Recently played
  • Playback reporting
  • Time synced lyrics!!
  • Search
  • Queue and add to queue from album and search
  • Caching songs and albums
  • Now Playing (control center, lock screen control, AirPlay support)
  • Full player popup

watchOS:

  • Play / pause (even when playing on phone!)
  • Play songs from albums
  • Caching songs and albums
  • Pulls login info from phone

    Do you intend to support podcasts and audiobooks? Specifically, remembering it stopped playing? If so I will totally drop Finamp for this

      i hadn’t thought of that yet but that’s a really good idea and ill start working on it:) any feature requests beyond: chapters for audiobooks, modifiable playback speed, and remembering playback position?

        I only listen to podcasts so you got the big ones: playback speed and remembering position.

          podcast support (assuming the library type is music) should be there upon release, which should hopefully be within the month or next month:)
