Have you blocked anyone? (By accident maybe) I tested it out a while ago and if you’ve blocked anyone, their replies are generally not visible at all, but if unblocked people then reply to them, sometimes the comment chain shows up collapsed but if you try to expand it it shows the spinny thing.
dunno. both times were with quite low comment counts. Might be my computer or the horrid slow internet here in Thornbury.
