NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Friday he would like the league to have as many as 16 international games in a season.
I knew he was going to pull that eventually, it’s the only real reason to go to a 17 game schedule in the first place, each team can have 1 game a year at some neutral site.
It doesn’t even need to be all international games. You can have neutral site games at some of these larger College stadiums. Imagine an NFL game at Alabama, Michigan, or the Rose Bowl…
Eagles v Steelers @ Beaver Stadium.
As the representative for the Detroit Lions, I call Windsor, Ontario Canada!
Lions v Bills in Toronto would actually be kinda sweet.
So one per team? That seems like a lot
On one hand that makes international games an even playing field if every team has to plan for it…but on the other that’s one less home game
