The short answer is no. The long answer is, they don’t have enough energy density so also no
they don’t have enough energy density
Oil has the same energy density no matter the source, doesn’t it? I think the bigger challenge will be producing SAF in the required quantities while maintaining a lower ecological footprint then mined oils.
