They should still continue to be viciously mocked for it, because it’s horrific and dystopian, and someone absolutely will try it again at some point. I vaguely remember running into a post on Lemmy Edit: huh, turns out that a Norwegian chain has been doing “dynamic pricing” for 12 years already, according to this NPR piece
FWIW, they already abandoned this idiotic idea.
