I use eweka w/ NewsLazer. For the most part it works, but I find it seems to download incredibly fast (just viewing the interface), but there’s latency with it actually writing the files to disk. It’s like it’s storing them in RAM or something and then writing them later? Is that what it’s doing? Sort of like buffering them? It puts a little icon next to each file (an orange “construction zone” icon, a “disk” icon, and a green checkmark). Is there some way to just write them directly to disk even if that means a slower DL speed?
