Example of mine: Frankenstein (1931).

The invisible man. Claude rains was the perfect choice for that role, refined but sinister voice. Seriously there wasn’t any actor at that time who could have done a better job (I’m simping, I know)
Invisible Man if that counts. Werewolf up there too
Classic or modern?
Classic? Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Modern? Brendan Fraser Mummy.
I was going for ‘classic’, mostly because I like the actors in Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein.
