Rented a cargo bike to help my wife move to her new office - eviltoast

It was a bit to bumpy for the computer so we brought that with the metro.

I got one recently and it’s incredible for shopping. It’s totally replacing car trips

How much did it cost you? What about repairs?

I know absolutely nothing about cycles but I want to reduce my dependence on cars as much as possible especially for short trips. All of the terms around cycles confuse me, since I haven’t really dug deep into it. I don’t even want gears in my cycle: I want the absolute simplest thing possible.

Cargo bikes are expensive, consider a kid trailer. They’re pretty cheap and easy to attach to a bike you already have.

They’re not as nice as a cargo bike, but they get the job done.
