Rejected for a job because I was basically too good (?), but they’ve invited me to apply for a more senior role coming up next month. Not really sure what to do with this information.
The more senior role is very similar to my last job, but yep, every chance there’ll be another amazing candidate so I’m certainly not holding my breath.
It’s great they offered to put you forward for another position. I’ve had that excuse and no one knows what to do, like ‘so you don’t want to employ competent people?’

at which point they’ll tell you that you don’t have enough experience for the senior role. Why? Cause they’re fuckers.
