    I admit sport in general tends to baffle me, but the appeal of watching people eat hot dog after hot dog really eludes me.

      Eating contests fit alongside beauty pageants as some weird archaic thing that we could just not do anymore and nothing of value would be lost.

    Totally stupid but it sounds like Nathan’s is trying to get him to sign a shitty contract under duress. Good for him for not caving. That being said…who cares?

    Almost succeeded. 57 dogs in 5 minutes, compared to Bertoletti’s 58 in 10 minutes. The man is just a different kind of athlete.
