Damnation/Deliverance is such an amazing combo. The outro to Deliverance is probably my favorite of all time. That back and forth between the 2 riffs is fucking magic.
Deliverance is fucking WILD. Another one that I was like “ehhh it’s no Blackwater Park” when it came out and after a few listens I’m like “MASTAPIECE”
Title track is insane. I was so juked when they played all 10+ minutes of Deliverance, left the stage, came back, and Mikael said something like “for our actual final track:
I love his deadpan humor so much! The only artist who has made me laugh more is Devin* Townsend when he was performing with Strapping Young Lad. Very different humor style though hahaha
I went to the SYL/Fear Factory tour as well! I wish I remembered more of the things he said. The only comment I remember is something about the crowd like “AH, AND IT’S NOT JUST A SAUSAGE FEST, EITHER—THERE ARE PRECISELY THIRTY-SEVEN BREASTS!”

I had tickets to see him in early 2020, that I bought in 2019 D: The piece of shit ticket sales place wouldn’t refund our tickets and just kept saying “no just wait it’s just postponed” even after I told them IT PANDEMIC WORLD I AM NOT GOING TO A CROWD EITHER WAY

On yeah! Saw Devy solo with Gojira 12 or so years ago and he was hilarious. Had the whole crowd doing jazz hands during Animals among other things.
