I would fork it myself and maintain it, but I only have experience in developing mobile apps using Flutter and not Native.
Here is a list of forks on codeberg, unfortunately none of them has more commits than the original repo.
Of course it is possible someone put the project on GitLab or GitHub or somewhere else.My recommendation is to move on. Sooner or later Eternity won’t be able to keep up with lemmy developments or even break. Better get used to another app before that happens. I can absolutely recommend Voyager for Lemmy, give it a try.
I guess someone will post here as soon as they are willing to develop Eternity any further, but there is no point in waiting.
Raccoon is also really good.
Something seems to have happened and Raccoon dev has simply deleted all code, deleted the community and exited the scene.
I am sad.
Looks like there is a fork although it could just be some Chinese backing up useful code 😁
Edit: Seems the app has been transferred to the community rather and I was just seeing the universe immediately after while the proto-stars were being born 😄
Voyager didn’t click for me, but enjoying Thunder
the problem with Thunder is that it has anti-features / uses Google libraries and systems
Personally I’d like to recommend it (as more options is better for users) but only if it didn’t use proprietary junk
What f-droid client is that?
The official one.
I’m enjoying Thunder as well.
I second Voyager. Has a pwa and fdroid options, works very well and is gaining customizations all the time.
Really like eternity, but I don’t have the time or skills to help develop it.
Yeah, Voyager really is the best interface overall. The PWA is so good, that it’s hard to even realize it’s not a native app. By far the smoothest PWA I’ve ever used.
I really wanted Eternity to work out, being that I loved (and still love thanks to Revanced patching) Infinity for Reddit. But it does seem like Eternity was too much to try and convert over.

Any reason to fork it instead of just contributing?
