Can anyone recommend a budget headphones to connect to an Amazon Fire TV in my bedroom. - eviltoast

Hi, I’m new here. My budget range is something that’s less than $100US on Amazon preferably (less is better). Can anyone offer any advice on the following 3 I have my eyes on?

$52.99 : The “INFURTURE H1” due to the low latency feature. Not sure how much of an issue the low latency thing is honestly.

$59.99 : “Soundcore Anker Life Q20”

$44.99 : “OneOdio Studio Wireless (Y80B)”

Basically, my wants in it would be wireless and over-the-ear… and if possible, something that has decent quality for music listening as well (somewhat decent bass). I came across the term “aptx” in my research… can I buy a tv transmitter with this feature for any headphone and it will not have audio sync issues?

Apologies if this post if formatted horribly, I’m still learning how to use this forum properly. Thanks in advance if anyone takes the time to help me make a choice. Ps, I don’t have the tv yet but it may be the Omni Series 43" Fire TV.

At that price range, the differences in sound quality are so small that it doesn’t matter which you get. If you want good quality on a budget you need to go fully wired.

I would dismiss the Q20 solely on the fact that they are Micro USB rather than USB-C. But if you still have plenty of Micro USB devices around, it might not matter to you.

Between the Infurture and the OneOdio I would go with the Infurture just because they are advertised as low latency. For watching movies latency is rather important because Bluetooth headsets can have a 200-300ms delay and then the audio doesn’t sync up with the lips. Which can get distracting. That being said, I don’t know what Infurture considers low latency and the OneOdio might even have the same delay. But I would assume getting a headset that advertises itself as low latency will be at least below 100ms and that’s acceptable for watching movies.
