Hi, I built my new PC yesterday. After installing Windows 10 including drivers, I noticed the PC runs awfully slow, it’s completely unusable. Boot time is around a minute, opening the task manager takes around 10 seconds, watching Youtube is impossible because the screen just freezes or the audio is distorted.
Here are my Specs:
- AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- ASRock B650 Pro RS
- Gigabyte Vision RTX 4060 (Vertical Mount)
- 2x16GB Adata XPG Lancer DDR5-6000
- 2x Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB
- Bequiet Straight Power 11 Platinum 650W
- Deepcool LT720 AIO 360MM
- NZXT H7 Flow
I tried updating the BIOS to the newest Version. One interesting Fact is, that when enabling XMP or EXPO, the PC doesn’t post anymore, until I clear the CMOS. Then it resets to auto mode DDR5-4800.
I did a userbenchmark test to see how it compares to other configurations. Have a look:
My guess is that there’s something very wrong with the ram configuration or the ram itself. It is mounted in the correct slot (DDR5_A2, DDR5_B2) though.
Side note: CPU temp is around 40-50C in idle, I don’t know if that’s normal with a 360MM AIO. This is my first “new” PC build in a long time, and my first time installing an AIO, but it looks fine to me.
Does anyone have a clue?
