    Because it’s more expensive, not because it’s worse for the environment. Still a good step though. I hope they can phase out gas next, since it’s arguably worse for ghg emissions. But it looks like it’s massively ramping up not down.

    I will trust it when I see it. The track record of the G7 in solving global warming is atrocious.

    So they’ll just start shoveling wood into coal power plants in 2030 and unfurl the “Mission Accomplished” banner.

    We’ve replaced coal with “clean coal™”! It’s totally different, trust us.
