    It’s the lake scene. 100%.

Dragging the tied up Lucy around with the lasso and the shibari tie up when dipped in the lake? The dispassion while doing so?

Yeah, Ella Purnell wasn’t the only one soaked

Watch The Shield (not to be confused with the shitty Marvel series from the 2010s), where he co-stars with Michael Chiiklis as a corrupt LA cop. It’s a great series inspired by the IRL Rampart PD Scandal

The marvel series is Agents of Shield, and it started off ok… but then CAWS threw a bit of a wrench in their plans.

What? AOS only got good after the Winter Soldier tie in twist. Season 4 is some of the best TV ever.

That twist was always planned. And sure, it started out OK… but then it kept getting better almost every episode, and every single season until the end, despite Marvel Studios deciding to ignore Marvel TV stuff, and despite the budget cuts in the last few seasons.

Look I know he’s had plenty of amazing roles, but I still have this weird feeling of seeing an actor I’ve loved for a long time being seen and loved by so many people for the first time. Like saying “I’m glad he’s finally getting his due” feels dismissive of his amazing work before now but that’s still how I feel.

True, I had a similar reaction watching this video on Inside Games where one of the guys says that Walton Goggins is finally having a breakthrough (no timestamp because I’m lazy). Like dude… the man’s been a household name for the better part of two decades now, even if he had a bit of a cool down for a few years recently. I mention The Shield in another comment, but he co-starred in what was at the time the most watched cable drama series (back when those words meant something) of all time. Walton Goggins is great and has been for years

He’s from my hometown, he’s always been amazing in anything he plays especially bad guys you like. I’m always glad he gets good work and it’s long deserved he’s got a leading role. I love his voice too, everyone where I grew up sounds just like him haha.

That only further proves the point of the post.

He lost everything: fame, success, and his good looks. He became a homeless radioactive cowboy with bad skin and no nose.

He has personality though. He’s fun and interesting. He’s confident and capable. That’s exactly why some people find him attractive.

I’m not sure how to feel about the Ghoul. Wanna root for him because we know what he lost, but then he kills the dog… Oh wait, dog isnt dead, and he heals it. So he is a good guy? He just murdered a bunch of people for absolutely no reason though… What the fuck is his deal? I mean, besides being a ghoul and his daughter probably being dead and his wife possibly being the very reason for the end of the world?

You’re not wrong, but like… The dude was already a random wasteland kid when he was picked up by the Brotherhood. Can’t really blame him for being a dumbass when he had pretty much no education other than “technology bad. Mutants bad.”

Lucy’s also a protagonist. The 3 of them make an ensemble cast, I’m pretty sure. Like in game of thrones, for example.

My read is that each of them represents a different fallout game. Coop is FNV because he’s a cowboy, and because he’s travelling across the wasteland for a rare McGuffin. Lucy is FO3 and FO4 because she’s a vault dweller hunting her family and their mysteries. I feel like that leaves Max representing either the earlier Fallout games or 76, but I don’t know them well enough to know if that fits. (Or maybe he represents that one BoS game)

The dudes that opened his coffin literally giving him a job? And plenty of people in Filly he shot didn’t even have weapons! He was gonna shoot Lucy until Aspirin (they said Aspirin and not Aspirant right? I’m gonna keep calling him Aspirin because it’s funnier) jumped in.

    homeless? it’s a post-apocalyptic wasteland…
    that’s like calling me yachtless…
    or mansionless…
not owning something is not a definition or description of a person

Not owning something? sure, that’s not necessarily the best way to define someone. especially in a post apocalyptic wasteland.

But there are certain benchmark things that are consequential enough to define someone. Not having reliable access to shelter is pretty descriptive of a person’s situation.

I don’t think you could argue that the only difference between someone who owns their own functional and crewed yacht - and a person who is homeless, is personal preference/taste. Regardless of an apocalypse.

But, I wouldn’t expect the mansionless to understand the nuances of owning things so don’t worry about it too much /s

Honestly, I’m loving the slur mansionless. Thank you for this

I’m pretty sure one of the definitions of homeless is to not owning a home. The tactless and mansionless kind of has a word too: pennyless 😅
