I played Dota games circa 2010, and I was decent. My most preferred game was Heroes of the Storm because it felt more streamlined and team based than Dota, and this has caused me to lose so many skills like lane control (kills/denials) and item management.

Is there any way of getting those skills back? Any resources where it may explain each role (carry, ganker, etc) with a few characters in detail? Any game I’ve played in turbo or otherwise has resulted in showing my incompetence 😂

Playing the game. Cs can be Trainer in the Demo hero Mode. Roles are quite Fluid so go with the flow.

Winning with every hero? So you’d have to play and win as every hero on the roster? Seems like a lot of effort for a sticker. Or did they mean with any hero?

It’s a thing people have been doing for a while. Usually in alphabetical order too. It’s nice that the game finally gives some reward for it.

Even without doing this challenge, dota 2 puts a pretty big emphasis on the players’ heroes pick since stuff like counterpicks and early/mid/late game viability (both for individual positions and for the whole teams) are much more impactful compared to LoL, so it’s a thing that someone who plays a lot would end up (mostly) completing “naturally” over time.

I stopped playing about 3 years ago though so maybe my infos about the metagame are out of date

It isn’t every hero. There’s a path which requires certain tokens in every step to unlock the next step. And each hero have set of 3 tokens based on their abilities. If you win a game with the hero you earn all 3, if you lose you receive 1 random out of the 3.

I think they’re referring to the “free sticker” for PlayTracker (whatever tf that is) mentioned in the image.
