    If you live in the right neighbourhood, it’s not only easy, it feels good; Like you aren’t missing anything. However, many of those neighbourhoods are in such high demand that the cost of living there offsets the money saved from not having a car.

    I’m lucky enough for that not to be the case for me. I live in a neighbourhood where it’s easy to live without a car, and my apartment is relatively affordable. But situations like mine are exceedingly rare in North America.
