I’ve been thinking lately how the US hated the USSR immediately but needed some convincing the Nazis were evil. As usual, fascism got leeway but communism was the devil. I can’t blame the powers that be too much; they can’t let the masses view communism favorably or else everyone starts seeing how screwed over the working class is.
