High quality headphones often have a higher impedance than cheaper ones, which makes them much quieter (unless you use an external amp). The automatic volume reducer thing was just always pretty frustrating in the past.
Especially when you’re driving and it suddenly reduces the volume to the point where it’s barely audible, forcing you to fumble around with your phone. And now that’s apparently gonna happen even more often.
