I think what they mean is after the first wtf reply, just drop it. If they actually want it or mistook the convo for someone else’s, they can come back and go, “oh wait, the sale, yea still interested”.
IMO the seller disn’t over-respond, though. Pointing out that you might not be the right target for that reply is totally appropriate.
Did we read the same conversation? I don’t think a question mark and a simple clarification counts as “keeping replying”
